Clark Gibson Cheshire, age 57, of Yoakum, went to his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014.
He was born on July 19, 1956 in Key West Florida to Walter Cheshire Jr. and Beverly Clark Cheshire.
Clark is survived by his mother, Beverly Cheshire of Yoakum; a daughter, Zoe Cheshire Copple of Houston; a son, Zachariah Cheshire of Houston; his sister, Janet Bateman and her husband Christian Bateman of Cuero; a niece, Michaela Bateman, and his nephews, Philip Bateman of San Marcos, and Joshua Bateman of Victoria.
Clark was preceded in death by his father, Walter Cheshire Jr.
Clark served in the U.S. Army and had a career as a pipe fitter traveling around the world. He had a passion for motorcycles and serving God.
He was a compassionate, giving and generous person, and touched many lives. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle and father, and will be dearly missed.
There will be a memorial service at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25 at First Presbyterian Church in Cuero with the Rev. Bill Cotman officiating.
