Dorothy Delesandri (Van Horn), 69, of Fresno, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014. She was born July 4, 1944, in Yorktown, to the late Doise Van Horn and Hilda Marie Goehring. Dorothy was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Rosenberg, TX, a graduate of Yorktown High School class of 1962, worked in retail and as a caregiver at day care centers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joyce Van Horn; step-sisters, Joyce Hollingshead and Shirley Brown.
Dorothy is survived by step-sisters, Alice Dernehl of Alvin, Marylou Pausewang of Arcola and Anna Bell Gibson; and 9 total nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 3-5 pm, Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Finch Funeral Chapel. Funeral service is 2 pm, Friday, March 7, 2014, at Finch Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
