L.A. “Jack” Junker, age 88 of Seguin, passed away on June 5, 2013.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 19 at Faith Lutheran Church in Seguin. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 19 at Hillside Cemetery in Cuero.
Jack was born on July 31, 1924 in Arneckeville to Arthur William and Lena Sophie Mary Hausmann Junker.
Jack is preceded in death by his son, Richard Duane Junker Sr. and his parents.
Survivors include his loving wife of 67 years, Bernice “Rocky” Junker; grandsons, Richard Duane Junker, Jr. and wife Stephanie and Kirt Aaron Junker; brother, Alton L. Junker and wife Nita; sister-in-law, Sybil Gruetzmacher and husband Bill; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Special thanks to his caregivers whom were like family, Nancy Serna and husband Rene and James Johnson and his wife Karen.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Family Disaster Fund at Faith Lutheran Church, 1326 E. Cedar St., Seguin, TX, 78155.
