Irene R. Trevino, 49, of Cuero, passed away Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014.
She was born March 27, 1965 in San Antonio to David A. Trevino and Beatrice Ramos. Irene married the love of her life, Sanford Trevino Jr., on March 8, 1987, in Cuero. She graduated from the Police Academy on June 8, 1984. Irene was a beloved mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her mother, Beatrice of Cuero; step-father, Lupe C. Monroy of Cuero; daughter, Erica Eve Trevino (Ray) of Cuero; son, Sanford Trevino III, of Cuero; sister, Vivian Ann Trevino (Michael) of Victoria; brothers, David Trevino, Jr., (Juanita) of San Antonio and Jonathan Trevino (Kristen) of Austin; grandchildren, Brian Anthony Trevino of Cuero and Stella Irene Trevino of Cuero; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father.
Visitation will be held Monday, Aug. 11, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014, at 10 a.m. at New Testament Holiness Church with Calvin Brooks officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Daniel Trevino, Jr., Edward Morris Wade, Jr., Jon Tyler Wade, Caleb Mathew Cuellar, Jacob Daniel Cuellar, Anthony Paul Trevino, Ernest Martinez, Jr., and Fabian Martinez. Honorary pallbearers are Ethan James Perry and Brandon Michael Trevino.
