Dorothy Jean Douglas Brown, age 77, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2014.
She was born on April 11, 1937 in Yoakum to A.D. and Lucille Beverly Douglas.
She was in the nursing profession and a babysitter.
Survivors: husband, Hobson Brown of Cuero; daughters, Eunice Faye Franklin Jones and husband Selmo of Houston and Dorothy Prestene Brown of Cuero; sons, Jeffrey Brown and Hobson Brown, Jr. both of Houston; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Delores Douglas Williams of Cuero and Emma Douglas Naylon of San Antonio; brother, Alvin Douglas of California.
Preceded in death by: parents; sisters, Yvonne Johnson and Lottie Mae Walker; brother, Melvin Douglas.
Funeral service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home with Pastor Paula Hopkins officiating. Burial at Tippins Cemetery.
Pallbearers: James Kelsaw, Melvin Williams, Russell Williams, Michael Williams, Calvin Walker and Alvin Douglas, Jr.
