August Theodore Styra, 63, of Yorktown, passed away February 13, 2015. He was born March 10, 1951, in Cuero to the late August R. Styra and Katherine Pokluda Styra. August retired from the United States Air Force after serving 20 years.
He is survived by his son, Leeroy Styra; step-daughters, Christine McCarley and Erika Barlow; 2 grandchildren; and brother, Paul Styra.
Visitation is 5-7pm, Wed, Feb. 18, 2015, at Finch Funeral Chapel. Rosary is 10 am and Funeral Mass is 10:30am, Thurs, Feb. 19, 2015, at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Bill Moorman officiating.
Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
