Juanita Trevino Parr, 70, of Thomaston, passed away Monday, March 2, 2015. She was born August 24, 1944 to the late Benito Trevino and Isabel Loya Trevino. She married Richard Leland Parr January 6, 1980 in Port Lavaca. She retired as a manager after a long career at Maverick Market. She loved to sew, enjoyed attending church events with her church family, and always cherished the special moments spent with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Michelle and husband, Dwayne Garley, of Thomaston; sister, Mary and husband, Robert Resendez, of Spring; and grandchildren, Ashley Wise and fiancé, Daryl, of Thomaston, Gladys Soliz of Victoria, Jaémenn Body of Thomaston, Kaéyanna Wise of Thomaston, Tamia Lott of Victoria, and Amiya Williams of Victoria.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and grandson, Roderick Lamar Wise.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 5-7 pm at Freund Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 10 am at Freund Funeral Home with Pastor Fernando Aleman officiating. Interment will follow at San Miguel Cemetery in Thomaston.
Pallbearers include Marcel Resendez, Noel Resendez, Jerry Loya, Eddie Loya, Joey Loya, Daryl Konecny, Leroy Brown and Timothy Body.
Honorary Pallbearers include Brian Resendez and Moises Narvaez.
