Joe Teague, 72, of Huntsville, TX passed away March 30, 2015 in Conroe, Tx. He was born September 16, 1942 in Mineral Wells, Tx.
He was a member of the Choctaw Indian Nation Tribe and very proud of his heritage.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Calvin George Teague and Octavia Ward Teague, his siblings: James Milton Teague, Jasper Calvin Teague, Cecil Teague, Marshall Teague, Betty Jalufka, Charles Teague, Bennie Lee Teague, Genelle Teague, Dottie Marchand and Daniel Teague.
He enjoyed life after retiring from Pepsi Cola in Conroe by working on his farm raising cattle and exotic animals. He also had fun working with taxidermy.
He is survived by wife Peggy Hardt Teague and children, Sheila Quinn and Richard, Clifton Teague and Jackie, Casey Daniel and Jamie Teague, also grand children, Kale and Taryn Quinn, Logan and Sebastian Teague. He is survived by his sister, Mary Alice Hagan (Bud) of Yoakum and brother David Teague (Shirley) of Bandera, also sisters-in-law, Melba Smith (Houston) and Jo Ann Henry of Yorktown and many nieces and nephews that loved him very much, including Joe Jalufka (Oklahoma), Darrell (Dayton) and Rodger Moravitz (Alvin), Rowena Tucker and Ralph Anderson.
His viewing was held April 1, 2015 and funeral was held on April 2, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home and interment at Mays Addition of the Oakwood Cemetary in Huntsville, TX. Memorial condolences for family may be sent to www.shmfh.com.
