Patsy Ann York Stirneman, 78, of Cuero passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015. She was born May 9, 1937 in Cuero to the late Edward Elwood York and Audry Martin York. In 1957 married the love of her life, Edgar Roy Stirneman, in Yoakum. Patsy was the most caring mother and grandmother ever to touch earth, and not to mention the best cook. She was a woman who brought joy to any and every person she met.
She is survived by daughter, Lisa Henkes of Cuero; sons, Thomas Stirneman of Cedar Park and Joel Stirneman of Victoria; sister, Jeannie Mauer of Port Lavaca; grandchildren, Jason Anzualda, Jeremy Anzualda, John Anzualda, Amy Stirneman, Nancy Stirneman, Samantha Wesley, Holly Henkes, Kirksey Henkes Jr., and Rose Goehring; and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband; and son, Donald Ray Stirneman.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, June 5, 2015 beginning at 10 a.m. at Freund Funeral Home with Pastor John Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Cuero.
Pallbearers include all of her grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association or Hospice of South Texas, in honor of Patsy Ann Stirneman.
