Noney (Ninaye) Body, 62, of Cuero passed away Monday, July 27, 2015. She was born August 21, 1952 in Opelousas, Louisiana to the late Henry and Olivia Lewis Monroe. Noney married the love of her life, Troy Body on June 20, 1975 at World Mission Church in San Antonio. She attended Victoria College and received her certification to be a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She was an LVN for 22 years and was also a licensed minister.
She is survived by her devoted husband; daughter, Tami Body of Cuero; sons, Tré Body and Timothy (Kesiaa) Body, both of Cuero; sister, Joyce Ann (Ulysses) Screws of Cuero; and grandchildren, Camden Chavez, Jae'Menn Body, Mariah Body, Camren Body, Camille Body, and Maryssa Body, all of Cuero.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Erma Rose Monroe; and brothers, Gene Monroe, Henry Monroe Jr., Glen David Monroe, and Hosea Monroe.
Services will be held Saturday, Aug. 1 at 2 p.m., at New Testament Holiness Church with Pastor Calvis Brooks officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Herbie Bryant, Ted Cadwell, Timmothy Webb, Harvey La Fonte, Shaun Brooks, and Kenny Brooks. Honorary pallbearers include Ben Brooks, Reggie Brooks, Willie Edwards, and Charles Palmer.
Memorial contributions may be made to New Testament Holiness Church.
