Janice Kaye Morawietz, age 65, of Cestohowa, Texas passed away Sept. 20, 2015. She was born Oct. 25, 1949 in Kenedy to Albert Boldt and Ida Warwas Boldt.
She graduated in 1968 from McCollum High School in San Antonio. She and Hubert Morawietz were married on Mar. 3, 1973 in Cestohowa. She was a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Cestohowa where she was a member of the Altar Society and on the Parish Council. She was a retired secretary having worked for CCC Group of San Antonio for many years.
Janice is survived by her husband Hubert Morawietz of Cestohowa; son Kevin Morawietz and wife Melissa of Gillett; grandsons Hunter and Luke Morawietz of Gillett; sister Carol Arthur of New Braunfels; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 22 at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Cestohowa with a rosary at 7 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 23 at the Church.
Interment will follow in the Cestohowa Cemetery. Father Dennis Jarzombek will officiate. Funeral services are entrusted to Rhodes Funeral Home, Inc. of Karnes City.
