Concepcion C. Garza, age 71, passed away, Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015.
He was born Dec. 9, 1943 to Isaac and Inez Colunga Garza.
He was a leather worker, a Catholic and loved music and singing in the choir.
Survivors are, companion, Mary Banda of Cuero; daughters, Monica Partida of Victoria and Alannah Garza of Cuero; sons, Jesse Garza (Janie Ann) of Yoakum, Jack R. Garza of Yoakum, Richard V. Garza of Yoakum, Concepcion Garza, Jr. (Sabrina) of El Paso; step-sons, Samuel Banda (Anna) of Victoria and Eddie Banda (Kathy) of Yorktown; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; mother of his children, Frances Garza of Yoakum; sisters, Vicky Vasquez of Yoakum, Trinidad Garza of Schulenburg and Pam Torro of Engel: brothers, Isaac Garza of Yoakum, Vincent Garza (Janie) of Yoakum, Hector Garza (Linda) of Weimar, Frank Garza (Caroline) of Yoakum and Johnny Garza of Yoakum.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Margaret and Juana Garza.
Rosary will be 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 5 at Thiele Cooper Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 6 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Matthew Huehlefeld officiating. Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Andrew Garza, Martin Partida Jr., Curtis Smith, Silver Vasquez, Albert Garza and Corey Banda.
Memorials may be given to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
