
Joyce Annagay Jarvis, 90, of Cuero, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015. She was born January 12, 1925 in Spicewood, Texas to the late William and Dollie Hood Phillips. She married her late husband Wilburn Warren Jarvis on July 19, 1944 in Burnet, Texas. Joyce was a bookkeeper for Means Furniture for 15 plus years. She enjoyed baking, gardening, sewing, quilting, Dallas Cowboy football and reading.
She is survived by daughters, Susan Roggenkamp (Dennis) of Anchorage, Alaska, Randy Gay Squyres (Melvin) of Gonzales and Deborah Black of Cuero; grandchildren, Stephanie Steelman (Aaron), Jennifer Powell, Amy Joy Webb (Kenneth) and Courtney Smith (J.R.); great-grandchildren, Zachary Webb, Sheela Joy Webb, Braelyn Smith and Maverick Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Ernest Phillips; sisters, Ruby Sylvester and Billie Ruth Henry.
Services will be held Sunday, Nov. 15 at 2 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home with Brother Richard Smith, Officiating. Visitation will follow.
Graveside services will be Monday, Nov. 16 at 1 p.m. at Smithwick Cemetery in Bertram, Texas.
Pallbearers include Kenneth Webb, Aaron Steelman, Zachary Webb, J.R. Smith, Gene Henry and Roger Krause.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Harbor Hospice - Victoria; Alzheimer's Association and the American Cancer Society.
