Magnolia Cain, 94, of Cuero passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter Gloria Taylor, Wednesday, May 25, 2016. She was born May 28, 1921 in Columbus to Pedro and Virginia Gonzales. Magnolia spent her final days being loved and cared for by her family in Cuero.
She is survived by daughters, Gloria Taylor of Cuero, Beverly King of Los Angeles, California, Patricia Barnes of Dallas, Michelle Belche of Miami, Florida; and many generations of grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro Gonzales and Virginia Donald Gonzales; husband, Charles King; and sister Mattie Warren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 31 at 9 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church with services starting at 10 a.m., with Father David Berger officiating. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Carlos Taylor, Carl Taylor, Oscar Taylor, Phillip Taylor, Timothy Jackson, Javier Perez and John Edwards.
