Evangelina “Blanche” Perez, 76, of Houston, passed away August 2, 2016. She was born September 1, 1939, in Yorktown, to the late Alfred January and Josephine DeLeon Perez. Blanche is survived by her children, Ursula Perez, Michael Perez, Cherie Perez Gutierrez (Richard); grandchildren, Edward, Amaris and Alyssa; siblings, Vera Botello, Alfredo Perez Jr, Alcario Perez Sr, Connie Gallarza, Susan Redmon, Carmen Perez, John Perez, Helen Troyer and Terry Perez; aunt, Rafaela DeLeon; uncle, John DeLeon; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be 5-8 pm with a Rosary at 6:30 pm, Friday, Aug. 5, 2016, at Finch Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 am, Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016, at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Roger Hawes officiating. Interment will follow at Yorktown Community Cemetery.
