Mildred Carson Noster, 90, of Yorktown, passed away Tuesday November 15, 2016. She was born April 30, 1926 in Colchester, IL to the late Gaylen and Ruth Martin Carson. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, and the American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Hoefling; and son, James Noster, both of Yorktown; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brother, Gene (Joyce) Carson of Arneckeville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry O. Noster; brothers, Sherrod and Carroll Carson; and son-in-law, David “Skipper” Hoefling.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Hoefling, Michael Noster, Kevin Styra, Mitchell Saunders, Gerald Saunders and Brian Carson. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5 - 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Massey Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Massey Funeral Home. Interment will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
