
Thelma Earlene Luddeke, 93, of Cuero passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017. She was born April 25, 1923 in Coatesville, Missouri to the late James C. and Edna Veatch Judd. Earlene loved flowers, nature and music, and she enjoyed playing games, putting together puzzles and reading.
She is survived by daughters, Debora Hess (Mike) and Tila Gardine of Cuero and Karen Hames (Frank) of The Colony; sister, Velma Wilson of Carefree, Arizona; brothers, Ed Judd of Phoenix, Arizona and Curly Judd of Lancaster, Missouri; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John W. Luddeke; brother, Earl Judd and one grandchild.
Visitation and funeral services will be held Saturday, March 11 at Freund Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. with services to follow at 10 a.m. with Pastor Sharon Wiggins officiating. Interment to follow in Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John Hames, Kyle Flessner, Jeremy Flessner, Michael Landry, Avery Flessner and Riley Gardine.
Memorial contributions may be made to the CAMAL House Food Pantry in Cuero.
