Zella Blackwell, 58, passed into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 7, 2017. She was born February 10, 1959 to the late John and Fannie Hopkins Blackwell in Cuero, TX.
Zella is survived by her daughters de’Reshia Blackwell, Keisha Blackwell, and Jasmine Ross; her son Tre’vor Jones; brothers Calvin Blackwell, Lawrence Blackwell, and Ernest Blackwell; and sisters Ann Hopkins, Joyce Pickens, and Stella Blackwell. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers John Blackwell and Micah Hopkins.
A viewing will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 1:30 p.m. at Grace Memorial Chapel, 8819 US Hwy 87 North, Cuero Hwy, with Rev. Marcellus Wesley, officiating. Interment will be held at Nobles Cemetery, in Cuero, TX.
