Audrey Faye Kuecker, 82, of Cuero passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017. She was born Feb. 25, 1935 in Arneckeville to the late Edmund and Alvina Hausman. Audrey married the late Leebell Kuecker on July 10, 1954 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Victoria.
She is survived by her sons, David Kuecker (Marsha) of Kyle, Gary Kuecker (Diane) of Friendswood, Steve Kuecker (Sally) of Victoria and Glen Kuecker (Rochan) of Yoakum; sisters Vernell Berkowvsky (Chuck) of Cuero; grandchildren, Daniel Kuecker (Cherlyn) of Granger, Audrey K. Moore (Marshall) of Austin, Clifton Kuecker of Corpus Christi, Lexi Kuecker of College Station, Vanessa Kuecker of Davila, Brian Kuecker of Austin, Spencer Clements and Stephen Clements both of San Antonio and Alicia R. Kuecker and Sydney N. Kuecker both of Yoakum; and five great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Gloria M. Luder; and daughter-in-law, Bernadette Kuecker.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 23 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be Friday, March 24 at 2 p.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Sharon Wiggins officiating. Interment to follow in Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Daniel Kuecker, Clifton Kuecker, Bryan Kuecker, Jeff Hergotz, Spencer Clements, Stephen Clements, Marshall Moore and Charles (Chuck) Berkovsky.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Hospice of South Texas.
