Zebedee Harper, Jr. passed into eternal rest on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the age of 79. He was born to the late Zebedee and Lillie Mae Hilliard Harper, Sr. in Yorktown, Texas on Oct. 20, 1937. Zebedee made Victoria his home for the past 17 years after returning from San Francisco, California. He attended Mt Bethel Baptist Church in Cuero.
Zebedee is survived by his wife Bobbie Raye Harper, sons Zebedee Harper III, and Christopher (Carol) Boykin; daughters Sheryl L. Harper, Zeborah A. Wedley, and Anitra (Dwyane) Baker; and brother Marion Harper, Sr. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, his extended family Ethel Joyce Thomas, Ella Faye Green, Marion Harper, Jr., and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
