Matilda Agnes (Schultz) Weise, 99, of Weesatche, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014.
She was born Sept. 17, 1914, in Kilgore, to the late Otto and Agusta Fruede Schultz. Matilda married Werner Weise on May 5, 1932.
She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Bell, Rose Weise, Anita (Adolf) Riemenschneider and Bertha (Charles) Riemenschneider; sons, Raymond Weise, Lloyd Weise, Milton Weise, Glenn Weise, Warren Weise, Randall (Bessie) Weise, Roger (Arleen) Weise, and Lester (Diana) Weise; 27 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 20 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family.
Matilda was preceded in death by her parents; husband; granddaughter, Sandra Weise; grandson, Charles Bell; daughter-in-law, Lillian Weise; and son-in-law, Leslie Bell.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24 at Finch Funeral Chapel. Funeral service is at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25 at Finch Funeral Chapel with the Rev. C. B. Suggs officiating. Interment will follow at Weesatche Cemetery. Grandsons will be serving as pallbearers.
