Amalia “Mollie” D. Renteria, 68, of Cuero passed away Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014.
She was born April 1, 1945 to Manuela Trevino and the late Alfonso Diaz. She married her late husband, Ismael M. Renteria on Sept. 9, 1959 in Cuero. Amalia was a seamstress and a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa A. Rivera of Warsaw, Ind. and Diana R. Johnson of Cuero and sons, Walter D. Renteria of Victoria and Jason D. Renteria of Cibolo, and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father; her beloved husband; son, Randy L. Renteria; brothers, Alfonso Diaz Jr. and Moises Trevino; and sister, Linda D. Renteria.
A visitation will be held on at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8 and the memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. at Freund Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Cancino officiating.
