Felton James Schultz, age 80, of Hercules, Calif., formerly of Yorktown, passed away peacefully in his sleep, April 9, 2014.
He was born Nov. 27, 1933 in Yorktown to Jessse and Ella Metting Schultz. He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War.
He is survived by his daughters Kathy (Henry) Schultz-Brandow of Hercules, Calif., Kellie Simmons (Jeff) of San Jose, Calif. and Danie Hesson (Brian) of Anchorage, Alaska; five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one step great-grandchild. He is also survived by his brother, Norris Schultz (Shirley) of Yorktown.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a son, Ronald Schultz, and grandsons, Addam Keith Simmons and David Addam Simmons.
Funeral service and burial will be held April 21, 2014 at 3 p.m. at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetary in Dixon, Calif. Military Honors will be presented by the U.S. Marine Corps.
