Joseph Hoelscher, 78, of Nordheim died Friday, May 2, 2014. He was born March 18, 1936 in Violet, Texas to the late Edwin and Irene Hoelscher.
He worked for Costal States Refinery for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife JoAnn Hoelscher of Nordheim, son Shane Hoelscher of Nordheim, brother Sylvester Hoelscher, sisters Helen Pugh and Lorene York. He is also survived by his little dog Schatzie.
He is preceded in death by daughter Sharon Ferrell, brothers Leon and Alvin Hoelscher, and sister Gertrude Gajdos.
Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday May 5, 2014 at Holy Cross Catholic Church and rosary will be at 10:30 a.m. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday May 5, 2014 at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Frank Styra, Ladis Pokluda, Maurice Shenkir, Johnny Ferrell, John Gold, and Glenn Peavy.
