FORT WORTH -- Shirley Machost Thomas, 69, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 28, in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation was held 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 27 at Mount Olivet.
Shirley was born May 24, 1945, in Yorktown to Eddie and Lonie Machost. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Jr.
Survivors: Daughters, Stacie Nierste and husband, Keith; Shanna Smith and husband, Dan; son, John Thomas III and wife, Sherri; six sisters; one brother; 10 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
