Mary Jean Wuensch, formerly Mary Jean Loest, 79, of Yorktown, previously of Goliad, passed away on July 28, 2014.
She was born October 6, 1934, in Goliad, to the late Herman Wilhelm Gleinser and Leola Jacob Gleinser.
Mary Jean was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Oliver William “Pete” Wuensch.
She is survived by her children, Lea Lumpkins and husband, Ronnie, of Bloomington, Patty Willisand husband, Jay T. of Victoria, Tommy Loest and wife Junice of Victoria, Lisa Edwards and husband, Randy of Victoria, Darra Loest and husband, Mark Dubois of Bastrop; eleven grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren; sisters, Cecelia Edwards of Gonzales and Marjorie Jolly and husband, Gene, of Schroeder; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved Siamese cat “Sam.”

Family will receive friends at noon with mass at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014, at Holy Cross Catholic Church with the Rev. Roger Hawes officiating. Interment will follow at Westside Cemetery.
