Lillian Schlinke Flessner Roznovsky

Lillian Schlinke Flessner Roznovsky, 94, of Cuero passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014. 

She was born March 3, 1920 in Cheapside to the late Oscar and Johanna Walters Schlinke. Lillian married Henry F. Flessner on October 12, 1940 and shared their life together until his passing on August 5, 1983. Lillian then married the late Albert F. Roznovsky on November 29, 1986, in Cuero. 
 
She is survived by her sons, William C. Flessner (Jodie) of Boerne, Gary Flessner (MaryAnn) of Cuero, and Kenneth Flessner (Beverley) of Victoria; daughter, Judy Cretors (Earl)of Yoakum; step-sons, Jimmy F. Roznovsky (Lorene) of Edna & Ronald G. Roznovsky (Kathy) of Yoakum; brother, Walter Schlinke of Nordheim; sister, Martha Oehlke of Weesatche; 16 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
 
She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Henry F. Flessner and Albert F. Roznovsky; daughter, Janice Trent; brothers, Oscar Schlinke and Johnny Schlinke; sisters, Rosie Cross, Johanna Wild, and Agnes Oehlke; infant brother, Willie Schlinke; and grandson, Chuck Roznovsky.
 
Visitation will be held Friday, August 15, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 10 a.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church with Pastor Karl Biermann officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. 
 
Pallbearers include William Henry Flessner, Jason Flessner, Eric Flessner, Ehren Cretors, Henry Cretors, and Frederick Flessner. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
 
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and Accolade Hospice.
