Leroy Louis Liendo Sr. died on Friday December 19, 2014 at the age of 66 years old. Leroy was born July 11, 1948 in Cuero, Tx to the late Myrtle Liendo. Leroy was a member at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Cuero and also a member of the Guadalupanos.
Leroy retired from Coca Cola after 28 years as a truck driver. After his retirement he went to work for CISD in the maintenance department until his health started to fail in 2012. He also served as a member on the Roy Benavidez Foundation.
Leroy leaves to cherish his memory his sons Leroy Liendo Jr, Jesse Liendo, Edward Warren and step son Jeremy Galindo. Also his daughters Jennifer Liendo, Candice Liendo, and step daughter Stephanie Franklin. Leroy has 11 grandchildren surviving him.
A visitation will be held on Friday December 26, 2014 from 6-8pm with a rosary at 7pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday December 27, 2014 at 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father David Berger officiating. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Galindo, Michael Ruiz Sr., John Ray Zapata, Kenneth Garza, Troy Zamora, and Kerry Franklin Jr. Honorary Pallbearers are Chris Rodriquez, Ashley Liendo and Crista Rodriguez.
