
Paula Galindo Robles, 82, of Austin passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014. She was born March 2, 1932 in Cuero to the late Leo Galindo Sr. and Antonia Zuniga Galindo. She married her late husband, Genaro Robles Sr. on September 25, 1949 in Cuero. She was a devoted wife and mother. She spent all her spare time caring for her yard and many plants that she collected through the years. She would always make it her priority to make tamales and Christmas cakes and cookies to give to all her neighbors on Christmas Eve.
She is survived by son, Genaro Robles of Austin; daughter, Toni Robles of Austin; grandchildren, Amira Box, Paula J. Robles, Hope Martinez (Gilbert Jr.), and Michelle Saucedo (Jerry); and great-grandchildren, Solomon Matthew Saucedo, Samara Gutierrez, Elias Gutierrez, Jayden Robles, Jaylin Puente, and Eric Puente Jr.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2014 from 5 to 7 p.m. with a rosary beginning at 6 p.m. Funeral mass will be Wednesday, December 24, 2014, 10 a.m., at St. Michael’s Catholic Church with Father David Berger officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Andy Galindo, Adam Galindo, Ismael Galindo, Isreal Galindo, Brady Robles, and Johnny McAfee.
