
Alice Elizabeth Weise, 85, of Yorktown passed away Friday Dec. 26, 2014. She was born June 3, 1929 in Cuero, TX to the late S.E. and Hattie Kroll Hadamek. She married Charlie Weise on Sept. 2, 1951 in Cuero. She was a homemaker and in later years, she and her husband owned Charlie’s Place and Alice’s Catering. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Yorktown.
She is survived by sons: Roy Weise and Rosie, Curtis Weise and Debbie, and David Weise, sisters Delores Caraway, Helen Bulgerin and Jimmy, Elnora Jurek and John, brother Albert (Buddy) Hadamek and Ida. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Chris Weise and Ann, Gwen Weise, Shana Weise, Adrian Weise and Dusty, Ethan Weise, Jill Weise and Jessi Weise, great grandchildren, Carson Weise, Copper Weise, Tristan Olalde and Talia Dubbin, Tyler Weise, Austin Weise, Haley Weise, and Donnie Weise.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Shirley Koenning and sister in law Nellie Hadamek.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm Sunday Dec. 28, 2014 at Massey Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1 pm Monday Dec. 29, 2014 at Massey Funeral Home with Rev. C.B. Suggs officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Caraway, Chris Weise, Adrian Weise, Ethan Weise, William Potcinske and Steven Hoefling.
Memorial can be given to Hospice of South Texas or St. Paul Lutheran Church.
