Frances Migura Warzecha, 103, of Westhoff, passed away Dec. 16, 2014. She was born September 11, 1911, in the Buesing (Cotton Patch) community of DeWitt County, to the late Theodore and Anna John Migura. She married Raymond Warzecha at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Yorktown on February 4, 1929.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on August 14, 1995; brothers, Onufry Migura and Victor Migura; sisters, Annie Migura, Sally Dlugosch, Theresa Yanta and Julia Migura; infant son, Lawrence Warzecha; son-in-law, Gus Wollny; and great-granddaughters, Kandis Vickery and Allison Faith Warzecha.

She is survived by children, Margaret Wollny of Yorktown, Daniel Warzecha (Sallie) of San Antonio, Barbara Baca (Bobby) of Victoria, and Marvin Warzecha (Virginia) of Hallettsville; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Great-grandson, Jude Warzecha, is due to arrive in February.

Frances made her home in the Westhoff community for 85 years and was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Being a farmer's wife, she worked side-by-side with her husband. She always had a garden, loved roses, and could propagate any plant from a simple cutting. She loved people and had a cheerful smile and a firm handshake. She loved her family, her faith, her Polish heritage, and always set a good example. We feel sure God will welcome her saying, 'Well done, good and faithful servant'. (Matthew 25:21)

Visitation is 4:30-6:30pm with a Rosary at 6:30pm, Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014, at Finch Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass is 11 am, Friday, Dec. 19, 2014, at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Frank Lenz officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mark Warzecha, Chris Lyons, Phil Schroeder, Mike Mueller, Roy Shane Koenning, and James White. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kevin Koenning, Brad Koenning, and David Baca.
