
Edna Mae Davis Alexander, 86 of Yorktown, was called home on Jan. 4, 2015. She was born May 31, 1928 in Lockhart, TX to the late Tom and Ruby Davis. She was raised in the Lockhart area and attended schools in Litton and Rogers Ranch. She married the love of her life Milburn Alexander on Nov. 28, 1945. She was a devout Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church of Yorktown for over 60 years. She was a homemaker, devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Edna and Milburn were blessed with two sons Michael L (Mary “Kitty”) Alexander of Yorktown, and David W (Kathy) Alexander of Victoria.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, daughter in laws Kitty Alexander of Yorktown, Kathy Alexander of Victoria, grandchildren Corina (Gregory) Turner, Stephanie Williams, Clayton(Stacey) Alexander, great grandchildren Ashton Williams, Devyn and Hailey Turner, Evan and Ian Alexander, sisters Jean Jones of Azel, TX, Lavada Smith of Decatur, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sons Michael and David Alexander, brothers Thomas and Joe Davis.
Pallbearers will be Clayton Alexander, Gregory Turner, Ashton Williams, Devyn Turner, Hailey Turner and Corina Turner.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm Tuesday Jan. 6, 2015 at Massey Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10 am Wednesday Jan. 7, 2015 at Massey Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Westside Cemetery.
