Glynis Boldt Koenig, 56, of Pasadena, formerly of Yorktown, passed away Sunday Jan. 4, 2015.
She was born Jan. 31, 1958 in Yorktown to the late Carlton and Edith Richter Boldt. Glynis married the love of her life Bruce Koenig on July 16, 1977 and enjoyed life together for 37 wonderful years. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Glynis had worked in the banking industry for many years but her greatest pleasures were her crafting and being a grandmother. She was an avid quilter and many family members have been a recipient of one of her special projects. And she was loved so much and was dedicated to her grandchildren and family.
She is survived by her husband Bruce Koenig, daughter Britni Dever and husband Daniel, son Bryce Koenig and fiancée Kaylyn Germ, sister Loris Maddox, brother Kelby Boldt, and grandchildren Brayden and Brynlee Dever and numerous nieces and nephews and brothers and sisters in law.
She is preceded in death by parents.
Visitation will be 2-3 p.m. Friday Jan. 9, 2015 at Massey Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Friday Jan. 9, 2015 at Massey Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Westside Cemetery.
