Bertha Irene Kozielski Moczygemba, 94, of Yorktown, passed away Friday, Jan. 23, 2015. She was born Aug. 17, 1920, in Yorktown, to the late Robert P. and Victoria Henkes Kozielski.
Bertha is survived by her husband, Alex J. “A.J.” Moczygemba of Yorktown; son, David Moczygemba of Yoakum; daughter, Joyce Marie Schellpepper of Cuero; grandchildren, Bridget Hairell of Yoakum, Susan Hoelscher of Ingleside and Bonnie German of Columbus; two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Nora Kolodziejczyk; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 1-8 p.m. with a Rosary at 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015, at Finch Funeral Chapel.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 26, 2015, at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Roger Hawes officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
