Kathy “Sis” Kuecker Williams, 84, of Cuero, passed away Friday, January 23, 2015. She was born May 29, 1930 in Cuero to the late Natalie Scheffler Kuecker and Rudolph W. Kuecker Sr. Kathy married Daniel Oliver Williams on March 15, 1947 in Cuero. She was a farmer and a rancher and retired as a clerk at Perry’s after 34 years of service.
She is survived by her sons, Daniel Lee Williams and wife, Mary Sue, of Houston, Wildon “Bubba” Ray Williams and wife, Bonnie, of Cuero, and Steven “Steve” Lyn Williams and wife, Valerie, of Brookshire; grandchildren, Lee Harrison Williams, Darden Matthew Williams, Marvin Blaine Williams, Jason Oliver Williams, Daniel Mark Williams, Steven Clay Williams, Christen Blanche Bishop, and Jennifer René Ruschhaupt; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Suarez-Williams, Andrew Williams, Amy Williams, Kathryn Bishop, Lisa Bishop, Aubrey Ruschhaupt, Garrett Ruschhaupt, Colton Williams, Nathan Williams, Jacob Williams, Hannah Williams, Lilly Williams, and Penny Williams; great-great-grandchild, Audrey Suarez; and sisters-in-law, Pauline Kuecker and Joyce Williams.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband; and her brothers, Leroy Kuecker, Frank Kuecker, and Sonny Kuecker.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 26, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2015, 10 a.m., at Freund Funeral Home with Dr. Glenn Robertson officiating. Interment will follow at Alexander Cemetery in Stratton.
Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include her great-grandchildren and special friends, Margaret Ellinghausen, Karl Kuecker, Dorothy Alsbrook, Lillie Tenberg, and Milisa Edgar.
