Nellene Ann (Wehe) Dlugosch, age 64, passed away February 3, 2015. She was born December 10, 1950, in Yorktown, to Henry and Leona (Metting) Wehe.

Nellene was a loving and gracious spirit who lived out the Proverbs 31 woman beautifully. Her smile, laughter, and friendship were infectious. She married Jim Dlugosch on September 25, 1971 and celebrated 37 years of marriage together in Portland, Texas before Jim was called home in November of 2008.

Nellene was gifted in the act of service and helping others. She used these talents daily as a school secretary at Gregory-Portland ISD for many years before retiring to the community of Victoria, Texas. She filled her days there with baking, gardening, vacationing with friends, and visiting her children & grandkids.

She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in October 2014, and courageously battled it with gentle strength daily. Her spirit continues to touch those who shared in her journey to be healed. Nellene's legacy of faith in God and love will continue to live on through her children. She is survived by her son: Jason and wife Christina of Allen; daughter: Angela Karnei and husband Jarred of Olathe, Ks; six grandchildren: Colby, Andrew, Madeline, Allison, Austin, and Chloe; sisters: Joycelynn Onken of Victoria, Katherine Boldt of Yorktown, and Marian Hoefling of Cuero; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and co-workers.
