Leona Lillie Brieger, 90, of Kingsville, formerly of Yorktown, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015. She was born July 30, 1924, in Yorktown, to the late Ceasar and Martha Warmuth Metting.
Leona was preceded in death by her parents; husband, LaVerne Brieger; and son, Cary Brieger.
She is survived by her son, Harlan Brieger (Angie) of Kingsville; grandchildren, Ashley Brieger of Kingsville and Megan Brieger of Waco; great-granddaughter, Madeline Rangel of Kingsville; and brother Roland Metting (Mary) of Yorktown.
Visitation is 5-8pm, Monday, May 18, 2015, at Finch Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be at 10am, Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at Finch Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Arden Seiler, Brett Ckodre, Dennis Mueller, Lawrence Ckodre, Joe Blaschke, and Danny Cruz. Honorary Pallbearer is Tom Ozuna.
