Maria Ursula Campos Perez, 86, of Cuero passed away Saturday, June 7, 2015. She was born October 21, 1928 in Yoakum to the late Saturano Campos and Monica Garza Campos. She later went on to marry the love of her life Pete Perez.
She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Scott of Cuero; son, Raymundo Ramirez (Hedy) of Lawton, OK; grandchildren, Raymund Ramirez Jr. of Plainview, Enrico Ramirez of Lawton, OK, and Gerlinde Bunch of Elizabethtown, KY; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband; daughter, Gloria Scott; sisters,
Margarita Jaso, Martina Shipley, and Ruth Cantu; brothers; Trino Campos, Jaime Campos, and Servando Campos.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Freund Funeral Home from 6:30-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at Freund Funeral Home on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 10 am. Interment will follow at Angleton Cemetery in Angleton at 3 pm.
Pallbearers include Dennie Hernandez, David Gomez, Roy Gomez Jr., Johnny Gomez, Joseph Howell Jr., Jeremiah Howell, Laurence Cano, and Everardo Ramirez. Honorary pallbearers include Raymund Ramirez Jr., Enrico Ramirez, and Gerlinde Bunch.
Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of the donor's choice in memory of Maria Perez.
