Alfred M. Barfield, 68, of Cuero, passed away on Dec. 31, 2015. He was born on July 14, 1947 in Thomaston to the late George and Erma Bryant Barfield.
He is survived by the mother of his children, Irene Barfield, his daughters, Deene Holmen (Lawrence), Erma Hawkins (Frank), Allison Barfield, Lisa Glover (Terry), and Erica Talley; sister, Shirley Brown, and brother, MacArthur Barfield. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and four great- grandchildren.
Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Angelia Barfield, and Claudine Barfield, and brothers Alloysius, Felix, Clifton, La’Vaughn, James, and Clarence.
