Genaro C. Rios Sr. 66, of Yorktown, passed away Saturday Jan. 16, 2016. He was born Mar. 21, 1949 in Yorktown to Elisa Cantu Torres and the late Obigilio Rios Sr.
He is survived by his wife Rosie Rios of Yorktown, daughter Brenda Best of San Antonio, son Genaro Rios Jr. of Yorktown, his mother Elisa Torres, grandson Aidan Weise and granddaughter Brilye Campbell. He is also survived by five brothers and three sisters.
He was preceded in death by Baby daughter Melissa Rios and son Jaimie Rios, his father and two brothers.
Visitation was from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday Jan. 19. Rosary started at 7 p.m. at Massey Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday Jan. 20 at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment followed at San Luis Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Daniel Rios, David Audilet, David Styra, Erasmo Rios Jr. Adrian Weise, Jr. Perez, Steven Lopez and Robert Villarreal. Honorary pallbearers were Rick Savage, Douglas Audilet, Isaac Rodriguez, Brian Rios and the Knights of Columbus.
