
Emily Anzaldua-Villarreal, 54, of Cuero passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016. She was born Nov. 4, 1961 in Cuero to Aaron and Eva Anzaldua.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 32 years, Lupe Villarreal of Cuero; daughter, Shelia Villarreal of Cuero; sons, Jeremy Anzaldua and wife, Amanda, of Victoria and Michael Villarreal and wife, Addison, of Cuero; father, Aaron Anzaldua of Cuero; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Eva Anzaldua.
Visitation will be Monday, June 27 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church from 4 to 5 p.m. with a rosary beginning at 4:30 p.m. Mass will begin at 5 p.m. with Father David Berger officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Jayden Juarez, Joe Juarez Jr., Charlie Trevino, Danny Villarreal Jr., Andy Bandera, Victor Bandera, Chris Bandera, and Anthony Bandera.
Honorary pallbearers include Tyran Gamez, Cyrus Garibay, Cayson Gamez, Earl Lewis, Preston Perez, and Christian Juarez.
