Patricia Ann Rose

Patricia Ann Rose Goehring began her compassionate life in Poplar Bluff, Mo. on March 19, 1952, born to Darrell and Ruby Rose. She spent her adolescence and early adulthood in Dallas where she was an active member of the Junior Achievement Society and received multiple awards and citations. Patti was also an accomplished musician, pursuing clarinet and choir.

 

In that time, she met and married James Ray Brannon. In 1972, they had a child, Samuel Douglas Brannon. Patti attended nursing school at San Antonio College and became a registered nurse. In 1977, Patti and James divorced, and she lived the life of a single mother for several years.

 

Then, one day while swimming in Austin, she met Duke Goehring. She married Duke on May 31, 1980 in Austin. Patti called Duke her best friend. They lived in Austin, Round Rock, Houston, and finally settled permanently in Yorktown. Patti and Duke had two children, Chad and Katie.
