Elo Pfeifer, 84, of Nordheim passed away Sunday October 30, 2016. He was born March 3, 1932 in Nordheim, TX to the late Otto and Mathilda Mueller Pfeifer. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Nordheim and owner of Broadway Grocery for 43 years and former owner of Broadway Bar for 19 years, in Nordheim. He was member of the Nordheim Volunteer Fire Department for 68 years. He served in the US Army and was a member of the American Legion and VFW.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Pfeifer; son, Ronnie Pfeifer (Kim Uresti) of Nordheim; daughters, Melanie (Chris) Mica of Flatonia, and Carolyn Elizondo of Runge; eight grandchildren, Kimberly Pfeifer, Dennis Pfeifer, Katrina Mica, Cailin Mica, Colby Mica, Kylie Mica, Bailey Elizondo and Brooke Elizondo. He is also survived by his brother, Milton Pfeifer; sister, Mary Louise (Gilbert) Pargmann; and sisters-in-law, Doris Pfeifer and Mary Ann Pfeifer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Bobby Wayne Pfeifer; brothers, Eddie and Erwin Pfeifer; two infant brothers; and sister-in-law, Mary Ann Pfeifer.
Visitation was held Tuesday November 1, 2016 at Massey Funeral Home. Funeral services were held Wednesday November 2, 2016 at Massey Funeral Home. Interment followed at Nordheim Cemetery.
