Patricia “Pat” Bailey Olson of Cuero, died Nov. 2, 2016 in Victoria.She was born Sept. 7, 1932 in Milam, Indiana to James C. and Leah M. Bailey. She was married to George A. Olson, who preceded her in death on Nov. 5, 2015.
Pat was a homemaker and her family was her “life.” She had dreamed of being a fashion designer, but her greatest accomplishment was raising her kids.
She is survived by Saralee Wittmer (Charles) of Bowie, Sharon Parker (Kenneth) of Victoria, Susan Martin of Austin, and George Olson (Simona) of Jourdanton; six grandchildren: Nathan Parker (Shelly) of Yoakum, Charles Robert Wittmer (Meagan) of Fort Worth, Hannah Parker of Lewisville, George Olson, Jr. of Jourdanton, Naomi Parker of Corpus Christi, and William Bailey Olson of Jourdanton; and her great-grandchildren: Charles Henry Wittmer and Maxwell Keane Wittmer of Fort Worth, and Noah A. Parker and one on the way, of Yoakum.
She is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, George A. Olson; and son-in-law, Bob Martin.
Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 5, from 1-2 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home, Cuero. Services will follow at 2 p.m. with Kenneth Parker and Wes Dukes officiating and burial will be at Hillside Cemetery, Cuero.
Pallbearers will be George Olson, George Olson, Jr., William Bailey Olson, Kenneth Parker, Nathan Parker, Charles Wittmer, and Charles Robert Wittmer.
