Anna Louise Day, 91, of Cuero passed away Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016.She was born Jan. 28, 1925 in Seguin to the late Arnold and Louise Boldt. Anna married Everitt Benson Day, Sr. on Jan. 25, 1947 in Cuero. She was co-owner of a convenience store and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.
She is survived by daughter, Carol A. Buchhorn of Cuero; daughter-inlaw, Lisa Day of Mansfield; grandchildren, Warren C. Buchhorn (Jennifer) of Cuero, Christina L. Kenne (Clayton) of Yoakum and Laura Ann Day of Dallas; great-grandchildren, Tyler Z. Buchhorn and Amber N. Buchhorn, Lara K. Thamm, Travis A. Thamm and Logan E. Kenne.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Everitt Benson Day, Sr.; son, Everitt B. Day, Jr.; and son-in-law Weldon E. Buchhorn, Jr.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Nov. 8 at Freund Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. Services will be Wednesday, Nov. 9 at Freund Funeral Home at 10 a.m. with Pastor Sharon Wiggins officiating. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Travis Thamm, Tyler Buchhorn, William A. Day, Michael Buchhorn, Roy Zengerle and Allan Goehring. Honorary pallbearers are Logan Kenne and Dan Wofford.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.
