Candace Monique Lewis, age 31, went to be with our Lord and Savior on March 27, 2017. She was born in Cuero, Texas Dec. 23, 1985. She was the daughter of David and Pauline Walker. Candace graduated from Cuero High School and Kaplan College in San Antonio as a Phlebotomist. She loved music, traveling, helping people, and most of all taking care of Sha’Nell. She was a very loving and caring person; and she would help anybody.
She is survived by her parents David and Pauline Walker; brother Brandon Williams, sister Brittney Walker, grandmother Mary Lee Williams, aunt Susan Edwards, uncle Benny Williams, Jr., aunt Vandy Lewis, Sha’Nell Krump; and numerous cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death her father Ernest Lewis; Grandpa Benny A. Williams and Virgie M. Lewis.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Monday, April 3 at Little Zion Baptist Church in Cuero, Texas from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 4 beginning at 11 a.m. at the L.E. Meador Encampment Grounds, Cuero, Texas with Rev. A.L. Taylor, officiating. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery.
