Gil R. Sixtos, 74, of Yorktown, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013, in Cuero.
He was born Sept. 1, 1938 in Panna Maria to the late Leo and Tomasa Mejia Sixtos. He was a Catholic and had retired from the City of Yorktown.
Gil is survived by his brother, Demitrio Sixtos; sisters, Lucia Rodriguez of La Mesa, Elva Quesada of Brownfield, Dominga Garcia of Hereford, and Manuela Garcia of El Campo; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Alfred, Victor and Mike Sixtos.
Visitation will be 1-7 p.m. July 25 at Finch Funeral Chapel. Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Friday, July 26 at San Luis Catholic Cemetery.
