Laura Teresa Mungia, 40, of Cuero passed away Friday, November 7, 2014. She was born October 3, 1974 in Cuero to Armando Sr. and Rosemary Mungia. Laura enjoyed crafting, dancing and listening to music. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and touched many people and made many friends because of her warm and loving heart. Laura had an amazing personality and an inviting smile that was infectious to everyone around her. Her family was important to her and she will truly be missed by all. Laura's love and passion for happiness will stay with us all, especially with her most adored and cherished new niece, Mia Bella. She spoiled her endlessly and Mia Bella loves her Lala to infinity! You will be missed Laura aka Lala!
She is survived by her parents Rosemary of Cuero, TX and Armando Mungia Sr. of Yorktown, TX; sister, Miranda Torres of Cuero, TX (Frankie Jr.) of New Jersey; brother, Armando Mungia Jr. of Cuero, TX and Grandfather Richard Olguin Sr. of Cuero, TX.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Minerva Olguin, Teresa Mungia, and Gilbert Mungia, Sr.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father David Berger officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
